Winter Leaf Corps, size-23-1/2"
This is an original style of hat designed by my father. With its pointed bill it is reminiscent of Robin Hood, the elves, or fairies and fantasy. Meanwhile it’s overall functionality and shape is akin to a Deerstalker Hat. There is both a summer and winter version, and both are made to be highly-dynamic outdoor activity hats. This is the Winter Leaf Corps and its made of Pendleton Wool and Dorr Wool fabrics. The wrap around band can be curled into a coat collar and work like a scarf. The band is also a double layer that can unfold to cover the ears. The band adjust the hat size smaller by pulling on the back tails, although we recommend a Leaf Corps hat to measure within 1/4” of your exact size. The exact size of this hat is 23 1/2”. The stitching on the bill has a varied and pleasing effect on both sides. It is done using my father’s original technique of free-hand machine embroidery. The loop on the top of the hat allows you to attach feathers, beads, or a tassel if you like.
